STATEMENT
The JKBC is dedicated to promoting and enhancing two-way trade and investment, and economic cooperation and understanding, between the business communities of Japan and Kurdistan Region in Iraq, and to improve the political relations between Japan and Kurdistan Region in Iraq. The Council interacts with governments, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations, as well as with the private sectors, in both Japan and Kurdistan Region.

| Kurdistan: Minister of Planning meets JICA delegation |

KRG: 20 Apr., 2010 Dr Ali Sindi, the Minister of Planning in Kurdistan regional Government, received Mariko Senda and Kazuyoshi Yamashita, JICA’s Project Formulation Advisors and their accompanying delegation. The meeting discussed cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Planning and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). They also highlighted the agency’s projects related to agricultural survey and research and trainings to develop the agricultural sector. |
